Representative Office

China government decree new "RO regulations for foreign enterprises" will be effect on March - 1, 2011. And main different between current and new regulation is here.

For Representative Office (RO) setup, mother company needs to be at least 2 years old.

Procedure
  1. Signing the Entrustment agreement;
  2. Preparing the documents for signature;
  3. Applying the R/O name and info on the Administration of Industrial and commerce bureau;
  4. Applying the approval certificate from Administration of industrial and commerce bureau;
  5. Making the chops;
  6. Applying organization code certificate from Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision;
  7. Applying the national tax certificate;
  8. Applying the local tax certificate;
  9. Applying the Foreign Exchange Bureau;
  10. Applying the statistic bureau;
  11. Opening the Foreign currency bank account;
  12. Opening the RMB bank account.
